Krahas stafeve akademike, edhe studentet po përfshihen ne fushatën zgjedhore për drejtuesit e rinj te shkollave te larta. Këshillat studentore brenda fakulteteve po aktivizohen me shume se çdo here tjetër për te mbështetur me vote kandidate te caktuar qe garojnë për dekan apo rektor. Por këtë lidhje qe krijohet vetëm 1 here ne katër vjet, studentet po përpiqen ta shfrytëzojnë ne favor te tyre. Ata pranojnë se ne këmbim te votës do te kërkojnë një note me te mire ne provime, ose mbështetje për një vend si pedagog ne fakultet. Drejtues te universiteteve te cilët nuk kandidojnë ne këto zgjedhje nuk mohojnë faktin qe edhe studentet po e përdorin fushatën për interesa te tyre. Sa i përket modelit te zgjedhjeve ne shkollat e larta, sipas tyre, ato janë bazuar mbi modele perëndimore.
