Gjithashtu ai u bën thirrje organeve te drejtësisë te mos ndikohen nga ndërhyrjet politike. "Unë se bashku me ambasadorin e OSBE dhe Shteteve te Bashkuara kemi nxjerre disa dite me pare një deklarate. Ne këtë deklarate te përbashkët ne kemi thënë se është e nevojshme te zbardhet plotësisht ngjarja e 21 Janarit. Është e rëndësishme qe hetimi te jete gjithëpërfshirës, i pavarur dhe pa ndërhyrje politike. Qytetaret shqiptaret presin qe te vendoset drejtësi dhe ne presim qe zyra e Prokurorit te Përgjithshëm te udhëheqë hetimet. Ne mbështesim organin e akuzës dhe besojmë se gjykata do te beje punën e saj ne mënyrë qe te jepet drejtësia," ka deklaruar Sequi.
