Igli Totozani, është emri i përzgjedhur nga partia Socialiste për postin e Avokatit te Popullit. Pas një konkurrimi ku morën pjese 33 kandidate qe aplikuan on line dhe pas dëgjesave publike te 12 te përzgjedhurve nga faza e pare, komisioni "Ad Hoc" i ngritur një muaj me parë pranë selisë rozë, ka vendosur pro kandidatit që vjen nga radhët e shoqërisë civile.
Me medalje ari ne universitetin juridik te Tiranes dhe me urdhër te veçante nderi ne Gjeneve, Igli Totozani mban dhe titullin Doktor Shkencash. Ai ka qene aktiv gjithë këto vite për projekte mbi te drejtat e njeriut ne burgje, si dhe është angazhuar ne media si analist për çështje të ndryshme. Zgjedhja e tij është përshëndetur dhe nga prezenca e OSBE ODHIR në Tiranë, e cila ne një deklarate për shtyp e cilëson vendimin si një hap kyç, për plotësimin e këtij institucioni qe mbeti pa drejtues kryesor që ne fillim të vitit 2010. Emri i Igli Totozanit , do ti propozohet kryesisë se PS e cila do te mblidhet te premten ne orën 11 dhe me pas do te kaloje ne grupin parlamentar socialist te martën e javës se ardhshme. Pas kësaj emri do ti dërgohet kuvendit te Shqipërisë për miratim.
Igli Totozani, is the name selected by the Socialist party for the post of Ombudsman. After a competition attended by 33 candidates who applied on line and after public hearings in 12 selected students from the first phase, the commission "Ad Hoc" is set a month ago near the headquarters pink, ruled in favor the candidate who comes from the ranks of society civil.
