Nder shkrimtaret shqiptare, akademiku qosja ka vlerësuar politikanin e njohur Ben Blushi. Ndryshe nga një pjese e gjuhëtareve, Rexhep Qosja është kundër ndryshimit te bazave te gjuhës standarde shqipe, edhe pse ajo mund te pasurohet.
