Tradita e festimit ndaras te 28 dhe 29 nëntorit, tashme është zyrtarizuar, edhe pse debatet publike duket se janë fashitur mes partive për datën e çlirimit te vendit. Ne vitin 2005 kur erdhi ne pushtet PD, la ne fuqi ligjin socialist, qe njihte si feste zyrtare të clirimit 29 Nëntorin dhe pse kryeministri Sali Berisha dhe e djathta nuk e njohu asnjëherë atë. 4 vjet me vone edhe pse ne koalicion me LSI, maxhoranca e djathte pranoi ne heshtje vullnetin e aleatit kryesor, për ta nderuar këtë date. Pas 2 dekadash debate, se kur u largua gjermani i fundit; 29 nëntori mbetet festa e çlirimit vetëm për te majtët, pasi te djathtët nuk bëjnë asnjë aktivitet ne përkujtim te kësaj date, ndonëse pushimin zyrtar nuk e kane lëvizur. Përkujtimi i ditës se çlirimit ka rikthyer ne "Varrezat e Dëshmoreve",2 ish aleatet e dikurshëm te se majtës Edi Ramen dhe Ilir Metën . Megjithëse ne kampe te kundërta , festa i ka afruar ne qëndrime te paktën për festen e çlirimit te vendit. Te dy krerët e PS dhe LSI edhe pse ne pozicione te kundërta , kane përcjelle te njëjtin mesazh kritik për demokratet qe vazhdojnë te mos e njohin 29 nëntorin.
The tradition of celebrating separately for 28 and 29 November, is now official, although public debate seems to have faded away between the parties of the date of the liberation of the country.
