Asambleja Kombëtare e Partisë Socialiste do te zgjedhe me votim të fshehte kryesine e re, një praktike kjo e ndjekur për herë të parë nga socialistet. Sekretari Organizativ, Blendi Klosi, bën publike këtë detaj kur lista e kandidateve pritet te jete e gjate për shkak te propozimeve edhe nga anëtarët e Asamblesë. Praktika e mëparshme e zgjedhjes ishte e hapur me ngritjen e dorës së anëtarit te këtij forumi. Por ajo që mbetet e hapur është dhe mundësia e rritjes së numrit të anëtarëve të kryesisë, nga 25 që është aktualisht. Sipas Klosit, një fakt i tillë lidhet me rritjen e numrit të anëtarëve të Asamblesë qe ka shkuar ne 233. Kur kryetari Rama u ka kërkuar deputeteve, por jo vetëm atyre, te sjellin propozimet për emrat e kryesisë, Klosi mohon ekzistencën e një liste paraprake me emrat e përzgjedhur. Kryesia e Partisë Socialiste, se bashku me sekretariatin dhe kryetarin e Asamblesë pritet ti nënshtrohen përzgjedhjes me ane te votimit, nga forumi me i larte i PS, që është Asambleja Kombëtare.
