Federata Shqiptare e Basketbollit ka përjashtuar nga aktivitetet sportive për këtë sezon skuadrat e Skënderbeut për meshkuj dhe femra.
Pezullimi absurd sipas drejtuesve te këtij klubi ka qene vetëm kalimi i detyrimeve financiare për pjesëmarrje ne një tjetër llogari bankare nga e mëparshmja ku ato derdheshin çdo sezon. Ndërkohe sportistet e këtyre dy skuadrave qe kane bere historinë e basketbollit ne vendin tone kane protestuar ne parketin e pallatit te sportit për këtë vendim te federatës. Kampionati i basketbollit meshkuj dhe femra do te startoje te mërkurën pas një ngërçi te gjate ku federata u kërkonte klubeve kthimin ne SHA dhe pagesën e detyrimeve financiare për pjesëmarrje.
