Dy bashkëshortet Lirie dhe Ilmi Cerriku nga Bradasheshi i Elbasanit i gdhijnë dhe i ngrysin ditët prej 20 vjetësh, duke gjetur hekurishte ne ish kombinatin metalurgjik. Pavarësisht moshës përkatësisht 64 dhe 72 vjeç, ata detyrohen te hapin çdo dite gropa te thella për te gjetur skrap, nga shitja e te cilit mbajnë familjen prej tete anëtaresh. Edhe qindra familje te tjera qe jetojnë ne periferi te Elbasanit, pranë ish kombinatit metalurgjik e përballojnë jetesën, vetëm ne këtë mënyre, duke gjetur e shitur hekurishte. Te rinj e te moshuar vërshojnë qe ne orët e para te mëngjesit për te zëne një pjese ku do te hapin gropën e radhës, ne zonën ku dikur hidheshin skoriet. Ndonëse punojnë gjithë ditën, ata thonë se sasia e hekurit te ndryshkur qe gjejnë nuk është e madhe dhe se ne pikat e grumbullimit u ofrohet pak për te. Fitimi ditor i tyre nuk i kalon një mije leke.
