Presidenti Topi i përfshirë ne akuza te ndërsjella me kryetaren e Kuvendit gjate ditëve te fundit, nga Kuçova, ka deklaruar se prioritet për te është axhenda e integrimit dhe plotësimi i rekomandimeve te BE. I pyetur nga mediat për debatin dhe akuzat mes tij e Topallit, Topi theksoi se integrimi duhet te jete përparësi edhe e institucioneve te tjera.
"Presidenti ka filluar një veprimtari intensive që i takon javës dhe ju siguroj që gjatë javës do të kem një agjendë shumë të ngarkuar, e cila vijon nga detyrimet institucionale të Presidentit, por edhe në vijim të asaj agjende integruese për Shqipërinë, të cilën besoj se duhen ta kenë të gjitha institucionet. Të gjithë së bashku duhet të punojmë me shumë përkushtim për këtë agjendë, për t'iu përgjigjur secili në institucionin e tij, por edhe të gjithë së bashku, asaj që ka thënë edhe Komisioni i Bashkimit Evropian. Pasi kryetarja e Kuvendit e cilësoi Topin si një nder përgjegjësit për humbjen e shansit për statusin, kreu i shtetit u kundërpërgjigj duke thënë se zyrtaret duhet te mësojnë etiken e komunikimit me presidencën.
