Sektori i garave pranë Federatës Shqiptare te Futbollit ka hedhur shortin e fazës ne grupe te kupës se republikës, një sistem si i ligës se kampioneve ku 16 ekipet u ndanë ne 4 vazo me nga 4 skuadra ne baze te rezultateve sezonin e kaluar.
Ne grupin "A" goglat vendosen fituesin e kupës se vitit te kaluar, Tiranen, përballë Laçit, Shkumbinit dhe Apolonisë. Koka e grupit "B", Flamurtari, do te sfidoje Teutën, Pogradecin dhe Kamzen. Një short relativisht i lehte për Skënderbeun ne grupin "C" qe do te mase forcat me Kastriotin Luftëtarin dhe Besën. Ndërsa finalisti i sezonit te kaluar, Dinamo, do te ketë një detyre te vështirë për te kaluar grupin "D" përballë Vllaznise, Bylis dhe Elbasanit. Takimet e para do te luhen ne datën 19 tetor, ndërsa faza e grupeve përfundon ne 21 dhjetor. Nga çdo grup do te kualifikohen dy skuadra ndërsa ne turin e ardhshëm do te krijohen përsëri dy grupe me nga 4 ekipe.

While finalists last season, Dinamo, will have a difficult task for the last group "D" in front Vllaznia, Bylis and Elbasan. The first meetings will be played on October 19, while the group stage concludes on December 21. From each group will qualify two teams while in the next round will again create two groups of 4 teams.
