Sekretari për Koordinimin dhe Çështjet Ligjore në Partinë Socialiste Fatmir Xhafaj deklaron se mazhoranca refuzoi paketën e opozitës, pasi është e painteresuar për zgjidhjen e krizës politike, për shkak të interesave klanore e mbajtjes me çdo kusht te pushtetit nga kryeministri Berisha.
Gjatë një interviste për "Vizion Plus", deputeti opozitar shprehet se 10 pikat mbeten një ofertë e hapur për marrëveshje me shumicën. Nënkryetari i komisionit parlamentar të Ligjeve tha se propozimi nuk ka elemente kushtetues. Zoti Xhafaj pohoi se pas paketës së ofruar nga PS-ja nuk qëndron asnjë pazar politik për marrjen e drejtimit te institucioneve te pavarura, siç e quajti nënkryetari demokrat Astrit Patozi. Që nga 23 shtatori, kur kryesocialisti Rama ofroi publikisht një paketë për të mbërritur tek marrëveshja me mazhorancën, në emër të proceseve integruese, përgjigjet e shumicës kanë lënë pak hapësirë për kompromis. Kryeministri Berisha ka thënë se mund te diskutohet vetëm për reformën elektorale dhe rregulloren e Kuvendit, por jo për pikat e tjera te dokumentit te selisë roze.
