Nga Nju Jorku kryeministri Sali Berisha ka pohuar se mazhoranca është e gatshme qe me konsensus te nisin punën për ndryshimet ne reformën zgjedhore duke u bazuar ne rekomandimet e OSBE/ODIHR-it.
Gjate një takimi me nënsekretarin amerikan te Shtetit Williams Burns, kreu i ekzekutivit ka garantuar se së bashku me opozitën do te jete gati për këtë reforme, pa përmendur pjese te tjera te paketës me 10 pika te Partisë Socialiste. Ndërkohë, vete Burns, duke mbështetur rrugën e Shqipërisë drejt integrimit, ka pohuar se lista e reformave te ndërmarra nga qeveria shqiptare duhet te përmbushen ne mënyrë qe te ecet përpara. Nënsekretari Burns shprehu dhe dëshirën për te vizituar sa me shpejt Shqipërinë.
