Autoritet i mbikëqyrjes financiare është një strukture e cila mbikëqyr tre tregje ne vend, ku tregu me i rëndësishëm është ai i sigurimit te automjeteve. Kjo strukture është krijuar ne vitin 2006 dhe varet nga kuvendi. Organi me i larte vendimmarrës i autoritet është bordi i AMF, i cili përbehet nga shtate anëtare një prej te cilëve është kryetari. Anëtaret e bordit zgjidhen nga kuvendi me një afat 5-vjeçar.
