Opozita paralajmëron se nuk do te japë konsensus, nëse do te ketë një konkretizim te nismës për rritjen e moshës se daljes ne pension deri ne 70 vjeç.
Deputetja socialiste Valentine Leskaj argumenton, se nuk është koha për te ndërmarrë një vendim te tille, pasi qytetaret nuk mund te mbajnë kostot e dështimit te reformave te qeverise. Eksperte te ekonomisë e vlerësojnë këtë ide, te kryeministrit si një mase antikrize, për te përballuar skemën e dështuar dhe përmirësuar financat publike. Ne vendet e Evropës, mosha e daljes ne pension është 68 vjeç. Nëse qeveria do ta konkretizoje ne ligj këtë ide, Shqipëria do te jete nder shtetet e vetme, qe aplikon një moshe te tille. Ajo qe mund te thuhet është se mbetet i domosdoshëm rishikimi i skemës se pensioneve, qe nga viti ne vit ka vijuar te thelloje deficitin ne buxhetin e shtetit.
