Pas skandalit me enciklopedinë maqedonase, ku shqiptaret cilësohen si njerëz mali, një tjetër skandal me përmasa po kaq te mëdha ka plasur ne Maqedoni, lidhur me tekstet shkollore te historisë se klasës se gjashte, ku thuhet se iliret janë kusarë. Skandali është zbuluar nga anëtarët shqiptare te komisionit kombëtar për librat shkollor ne Maqedoni, te cilët po kontrollonin punimin e këtyre teksteve. Ne historinë e librit te klasës se gjashte thuhet se ilirët kanë qenë popull kusarësh dhe se ky fis nuk është paraardhës i shqiptareve. Skandali duket se nuk ka te beje me një gabim njerëzor por gjithçka është e qëllimshme. Kjo për shkak se Kryetari i Komisionit Kombëtar te Teksteve, Zoran Radic, ka pohuar edhe publikisht për gazetën "Utrinski" pikërisht këtë fakt qe është përfshirë me pas ne librat e shkollës se shqiptaret nuk janë paraardhës te ilireve dhe se iliret kane qene kusarë. Për këtë çështje janë informuar edhe ministri i Arsimit dhe Shkencës, Pançe Kralev dhe zëvendësministri Safet Neziri, te cilët janë shprehur se do te gjejnë një zgjidhje te pranueshme, duke u bazuar ne fakte historike. Botimi i këtyre teksteve është ndaluar deri ne korrigjimin e tyre.
