Election monitors from the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) arrived in Venezuela ahead of the December 6 legislative elections. The mission was accompanied by the secretary general of the regional integration body, Ernesto Samper, and is comprised of 60 specialists who will be working with Venezuela's National Electoral Council. teleSUR
