Venezuela: Maduro Says Opposition Plans Election Sabotage Blackouts

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro reported yesterday that the country's right-wing opposition is planning a nationwide electricity blackout to coincide with the December 6 legislative elections. On Sunday night Caracas and other areas of the country were plunged into darkness in what Maduro describes as a trial run, and in which five people died, electrocuted while trying to cut electrical wires. teleSUR
