Protests against the TPP have been going on since Saturday in Washington DC and are expected to continue until Wednesday. A wide variety of people from all parts of the country, including farmers, workers and people with medical problems participated in a number of marches, rallies and street closures to demand that the TPP be scuttled. Activists also met with members of Congress, who have a 60-day period to review the Partnership, to encourage them to take action against the measure. Little has been heard from presidential candidates on the matter. Bianca Perez reports from Washington DC for teleSUR
