Protests against the TPP have been going on since Saturday in Washington DC and are expected to continue until Wednesday. A wide variety of people from all parts of the country, including farmers, workers and people with medical problems participated in a number of marches, rallies and street closures to demand that the TPP be scuttled. Activists also met with members of Congress, who have a 60-day period to review the Partnership, to encourage them to take action against the measure.
