Mir Taqi Mir is one the senior most poets among the Asatazas (teachers). This Ghazal is a famous Ghazal rendered by many crooners of the subcontinent. This version is sung by Dr. Amjad Parvez and composed by Mian Sheheryar. Both are recipients of Pride of Performance Award by the President of Pakistan.
