WASHINGTON — A Secret Service officer was arrested by police in a sting operation after allegedly sending lewd texts to someone he thought was an underage girl, the New York Daily News reported.
The News Journal reports that in August, a Delaware detective with the Child Predator Task Force was using the profile of a 14-year-old-girl, when, according to authorities, 37-year-old Lee Robert Moore began sending messages.
A criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware alleges that Moore, operating under the username 'Rob' on social media app Meet24, began asking the 'girl' what she liked to wear to bed, before moving the chat to Kik and exchanged images. Moore began allegedly sexting the girl while working at the White House, in one instance asking if she would be more nervous riding a motorcycle, or riding him, according to The Daily Beast.
Wanting to meet-up for some sexy time, he wrote it would give him immense pleasure to pull her shorts down her cute little legs, reports the New York Daily News. According chatlogs, he allegedly sent a photo of his genitals to the fake-teen, and attempted to convince her to send one of herself in her underwear, completely unaware he was chatting with law enforcement.
Moore was arrested on Monday. He admitted having a sexual interest in 14-year-old girls and confessed to sexting them online, according to CNN. A married father of two, Moore's badge at the White House was revoked, and his security clearance terminated following the incident.
