Written/dedicated for anyone/everyone who has been affected by the terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015.
As this was thrown together rather quickly, it sports rather simple harmony. I made sure to give the piece a beating heart that goes throughout. I also ended up adding a bass drum to kind of incorporate a heaving booming sound (heavier boom=something exploding). At the middle, I decided to throw in something French. And that was the song "La Marseillaise" (the national anthem). At least, it was that melody slowed down and arranged in a minor key (as normally it's too happy [at least for this piece]).
My sincere condolences to Parisians!
