Border Dispute Resurfaces Between Chile and Peru

The recent creation of the Tacna District in southern Peru by President Ollanta Humala has revived a border dispute with neighboring Chile. According to Peru, the boundary runs from the edge of sea, while for Chile it starts 270 meters inland.
