I first heard & fell in love with this song as "Closing Time" off the album "Scattered, Smothered, And Covered" by Hootie & The Blowfish. I later learned that it was originally written and recorded by Tom Waits, and when I heard his version I liked it even more (though both are great). Anyway, I think every guy has been out at a bar at some point and felt EXACTLY like this. That's what makes it such a brilliant song.
