This record is actually credited to Jack Albin Hotel Penssylvania Dance Orchestra and it was made in 1931. The vocal is by Paul Small. This band had a long term engagement at New York City's Hotel Pennsylvania during the early 1930s. Although he was quite popular, very little is known of him today. He did record extensively for many labels. This excellent record was made in 1930. Rust credits Irving Kaufman as the vocalist but this is definitely erroneous. The disc label credits 'Ben Alley', but this was a pseudonym used by several singers. In this case we are undoubtedly hearing Bill Coty.
