Jerusalem: 74 Palestinians Killed, 2240 Wounded

After 30 days of continuous unrest in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, clashes are still intense. So far 74 Palestinians have been killed, and 2240 wounded. Analysts say it is difficult to predict the future course of what many are calling the Third Intifada. Given the lack of an open role by the Palestinian factions, a feeling of rage continues to grow. Israel’s actions may determine whether the Intifada will continue or not. “It depends on whether Israel will step back or step up its repressive measure, including the detention of those who throw stones,” said political analyst Akram Attallah.
