In just one month's time, regional elections will be held here in France. They are partly a dress rehearsal for the next poll, the 2017 presidential election. Most of all, they will be a litmus test for the three main camps: the socialists of President François Hollande, the opposition conservatives led by his predecessor Nicolas Sarkozy and the far-right National Front of Marine Le Pen.
