In 1492, Spain expelled its Sephardic Jewish community. Now, 523 years later, Madrid is offering citizenship to their descendants in an effort to right an historic wrong. Many of the descendents of these Jews have kept a connection to Spain through language, food and customs. But the application process to prove one's ancestry is proving difficult.
