Here Are First NASA Images From Close Flyby Of Saturn's 'Geyser Moon'

New images of Enceladus are being released from the Cassini spacecraft after a recent close flyby.


New pictures of Saturn's icy moon Enceladus are beginning to trickle back to Earth. 
The Cassini space probe recently made an extremely close pass over the geologically active moon—just 30 miles above the ice-covered surface. 
The images show Enceladus's south pole, stark white, coated with long creases and the occasional pockmark-like indentation. 
Linda Spilker, the mission's project scientist, said, "Cassini's stunning images are providing us a quick look at Enceladus from this ultra-close flyby, but some of the most exciting scie
