NASA Helping Solve Mystery That Surrounds Ancient Geoglyphs

The New York Times reports that NASA is studying the mysterious geoglyphs in Kazakhstan--an effort which includes releasing overhead images and tasking the International Space Station to take additional photos.

NASA is studying the earthworks in Kazakhstan to help solve the mystery of their history and purpose, according to the New York Times. 
The agency has released images of a ring, a square, a cross, and a swastika-like shape which were reportedly taken at about 430 miles above ground.
