Women’s groups and social movements took to the streets of Rio de Janeiro to demand the resignation of Congressional President Eduardo Cunha for promoting a reform of the law that provides care for victims of sexual violence. The measure would deny women access to the morning-after pill. Protester have also demanded Cunha’s resignation due to his involvement in a corruption scandal after it was found that he has five bank accounts in tax havens. teleSUR
