Drone footage that showed the temporary camps used by refugees and migrants close to the Slovenian town of Brezice was released on October 22. The videos show makeshift camps set up in fields and beside reception centres in three neighboring Slovenian towns, Brezice, Dobova and Rigonce, along the railway line carrying people north from Croatia on their journey to Western Europe. Portable toilets and campfires can be seen from the air.

Slovenian police reported on October 22 that more than 12,600 migrants entered the country in just 24 hours. Credit: YouTube/Robert Ivanšek
