Colombia: Remains of 3 Disappeared Women Located

Remains have been located of two cafeteria workers and a visitor who disappeared 30 years ago during the Colombian Army’s violent siege of the Palace of Justice taken over by the former M-19 guerrilla group in 1985. The Army left more than 100 people dead, including 11 Supreme Court Justices taken hostage by the guerrillas. A brother of one of the exhumed victims reported having been informed that the women had been taken from the Palace, tortured and executed by military forces.
