Round 1: GGG opens up by working behind the jab. He very effectively keeps Lemieux at bay throughout the round, not allowing the aggressive power puncher to ever get inside. In the last minute, Golovkin starts effectively mixing in a hook behind the jab, landing a few heavy shots. Lemieux did nothing here. 10-9 Golovkin
Round 2: Golovkin again opens with the jab, using it to dictate the range very well. Lemieux tries hard to get inside, and does succeed a few times, but never lands much of note once in there. Midway through the round, GGG lands the best punch of the fight so far - a nasty left hook that hurts Lemieux badly.
