Twenty years after Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan led his first Million Man March on Washington he has commemorated the event, baptising it as the “Justice or Else” rally. This time the crowd was counted in the thousands, and gathered to protest at the recent number of high-profile police killings of unarmed, mostly Afro-American men.
Farrakhan spoke for two hours, denouncing “white supremacy”, sexual immorality, abortion and violence.
