Ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali today accepted the invitation of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to perform in the national capital in December. Ali’s Mumbai gig was cancelled after Shiv Sena threatened to disrupt it. “God willing, I’ll surely perform in Delhi in December,” Ali said. Earlier today, Kejriwal had tweeted, “Ghulam Ali Sahib. Hum apke bahut bade fan hain. Abhi apse baat karke bahut acha laga. Thanks for agreeing to do a program in Delhi in Dec” (We are huge fan of yours. It was great talking to you). Ghulam Ali has also accepted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s invitation to perform in Kolkata some time soon.
