Injured American Bald Eagle Rescued In Florida

An injured bald eagle has been rescued thanks to the help of some friends—human and otherwise.

American bald eagles may no longer be endangered, but that doesn't mean some don't need help.
One bald eagle in Florida has been rescued through a series of interventions. 
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office was notified that an injured eagle was splashing about on the edge of a small pond. 
A deputy arrived at the scene and upon seeing the distressed bird, he contacted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The organization sent a professional trapper to catch the bird, which was accomplished with the deputy's help.
