Plantain trees planted across thousands of acres damaged in Gopi

Heavy rains and gusty winds have damaged plantain trees planted across thousands of acres damaged in Gopi, Erode district. The estimated loss is around rupees two crores say farmers. Hence they want the government to compensate for the loss.
