Pink has hidden in a department store, and spends the night trying to hide from the caretaker
It's late at night at Gambles Department Store. The night janitor is jauntily sweeping up when his whistling awakens the Pink Panther, who has been sleeping in the Imported Rugs department. The Panther quickly hides in a tiger skin rug, and soon had the janitor believing the rug is alive. After several frustrating skirmishes between the rug and himself, the janitor tries to regain his composure, and continues sweeping. In various other departments, the Panther manages to entertain himself and harass the janitor. Finally, out of frustration, the janitor resigns.
