In recent days, three category 4 hurricanes simultaneously swirled east of the International Date Line, setting an all-time record.

The Pacific Ocean’s unusually warm waters have triggered a never before seen weather occurrence. 
In recent days, three category 4 hurricanes simultaneously swirled east of the international date line. 
Their names are Ignacio, Jimena, and Kilo. 
At present, it isn’t believed any of them will make landfall, but concerns are high nonetheless as Ignacio continues to move in the direction of Hawaii. 
Although it has weakened to a category 2 event, Ignacio is still expected to cause a great deal of rain and water turbulence as it moves past the islands’ northern shores.
Jimena, which has been traveling just behind Ignacio, has remained at full force, but is anticipated to change course and weaken in the coming days.
