Expected to be called the Pulsar 200 AS (Adventure Sport), the vehicle will most probably make its debut in Indonesia along side the Pulsar 200 SS. The new is based on the Pulsar 200 NS, and features a larger windshield than the 200 NS, a semi-fairing merged into the tank and big headlamp with projector. The vehicle's front also wears a sticker that, however, is not clearly readable. That said, the vehicle's front seems to have taken its inspiration from the Discover 150F and rest of its design look almost similar to the 200 NS. It carries the similar rear section, swing arm, seat positioning and non-ABS disc brakes.
the Pulsar 200 AS features the same powertrain, 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, that powers the 200 NS. This engine, mated to a 6-speed transmission, is claimed to return a maximum power output of 23bhp and 18.3Nm of peak torque.
