In an attempt to capitalize on the nostalgia craze taking root in the early 70's, the publishing firm that owned the rights to the classic 1968 Orpheus song "Can't Find The Time" made arrangements for the song to be re-recorded by the doo-wop group The Capris (best known for their 1961 hit "There's A Moon Out Tonight"). Recorded at New York's A&R Studios in the Spring of 1971, the cover was based around an extended version of the original Orpheus backing track with additional bass and drum overdubs. Alterations were also made to the song's lyrics - most notably to the chorus with the original version's memorable "ba da da's" being replaced by "baby baby I". Never officially released by the group, the track did not turn up until 2007 when the publishing firm released it as part of a digital compilation.
