Pope Francis has arrived in the United States, where he is scheduled to visit Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York City. He was welcomed at Andrews Air Force Base by President Barack Obama and his family along with a crowd of hundreds of people, and then received another warm welcome at the Apostolic Nunciature, where he is staying. The Pontiff will meet with Obama early Wednesday morning and will address a joint session of Congress on Thursday. He is expected to address issues of poverty, war, environmental disasters and the blockade against Cuba. Bianca Perez reports from Washington for teleSUR.
