The much-awaiting meeting between Venezuelan and Colombian presidents Nicolas Maduro and Juan Manuel Santos was held yesterday in Quito. The two leaders agreed to a 7-point program aimed at normalizing border relations, which includes ambassadors returning to their posts, the reopening of border crossings, and investigations into specific incidents that have affected ties between the two countries.
