Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Mohd. Yasin Malik has been detained in Srinagar on Tuesday (September 22). Malik and his supporters had planned a protest march against the recent civilian deaths caused by terrorists. Police have stated that this is a preventive detention to ensure law and order is maintained.
