Argentina: Tucuman Supreme Court Validates August Elections

The Supreme Court of the Argentine province of Tucuman has revoked last week’s decision by a lower court to annul the results of the August 23 elections. In a unanimous vote the high court validated the victory of candidate of the ruling Front for Victory party, who won by 12 points. The government of Tucuman characterized the lower court ruling as a judicial coup. teleSUR
