The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) announced in Havana that it is ready to discuss procedures for laying down its arms and becoming a legal political movement. FARC leader Ivan Marquez said the rebels are making basic proposals for system of truth, justice, reparations and non-repetition system in the post-conflict period. A partial agreement with the government on land reform has been reached during the talks. Marquez repeated the FARC’s call for a bilateral ceasefire. teleSUR
