Abubakar Farooqui sang Turkish songs "Gullere Vurgunum" and "Gulpembe" infront of Turkish President Abdullah Gul who greatly enjoyed both of them. Abubakar Farooqui then met Turkish President Abdullah Gul after his performance at Serena Hotel in 2010.
