Egypt has apologized to Mexico for an airstrike on a tourist convoy in the western desert that may have killed as many as eight Mexican vacationers. Six Mexicans were wounded and taken to the hospital in Cairo after four vehicles were attacked by an Egyptian warplane and several helicopters as they stopped for a break. The Mexican government has confirmed the death of only two of their citizens, but Egyptians say eight Mexicans died along with three or four Egyptians.
