The European Space Agency's Sentinel-2A satellite recently captured images of a ship amid a beautiful but toxic algal bloom spread across the warm waters of the Baltic Sea.

In a stunning visual captured by satellite, a seemingly tiny ship darts through a massive patch of swirling green algae that has made the Baltic sea toxic for now.

The image of the vast algal bloom was relayed to Earth by the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2A satellite only weeks after reaching orbit.
Weather conditions such as the kind experienced recently can produce large blooms which are toxic to some species, at least partly
