S Ganesan, the BN man for Bukit Selambau, is the Kedah deputy MIC chief and former Lunas assemblyperson. The Bukit Selambau seat fell vacant following the resignation of incumbent assemblyman V Arumugam of Parti Keadilan Rakyat last month.
